Elements and Performance Criteria

  1. Prepare for asset construction
  2. Consult with stakeholders and identify and address requirements and issues impacting construction
  3. Determine and document work requirements, materials and configurations according to plans, specifications, instructions and workplace procedures
  4. Conduct worksite inspections according to workplace procedures and risk management guidelines
  5. Collate and check project documentation and assess for impact on work planning and management
  6. Identify and investigate potential hazards and safety risks and report recommendations for preventative action according to organisational requirements
  7. Identify and specify roles and responsibilities of relevant personnel and stakeholders
  8. Identify and check construction and maintenance guidelines, industry standards and other regulatory requirements

  10. Implement workplace health and safety (WHS) policy and procedures, including hazard and risk management
